SELF DEFENSE AND FITNESs

  • Jiu jitsu is a really good workout that makes you forget you're working out.
  • When it comes to personal defense, nothing rises to the occasion like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because of the infinite variety of takedowns, chokes, and joint locks that can be used to defend your life, not to mention the lives of your friends and loved ones.
  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is an amazing martial art which provides the tools necessary to defend oneself against much larger opponents.  It does not require strength, power or agility.
  • The fact that Brazilian jiu jitsu will change your body cannot be denied. You can physically see your body changing with every day or week. What you can’t see is the improvements in your overall health as a result of training.

BULLY PROOF YOUR CHILD WITH BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

  • Increased Awareness: Harassment comes in many forms. Sometimes, a victim doesn’t take a stand because they can’t differentiate between “joking” and “bullying.” We teach your child to differentiate between harmless play and harmful harassment so they know precisely when and how to act in each circumstance.
  • Unshakable Confidence: A confident child is a Bullyproof child. Bullies seek “easy targets” – those who will tolerate their abuse. We arm your child with the tools needed to overcome physical, verbal, and psychological harassment, so they are so confident in themselves that no bully will try to harass them.
  • Total Responsibility: We prepare your child to deal with bullies without turning them into one. We emphasize discipline, responsibility, and respect throughout the course, and teach five “Rules of Engagement” to ensure they never abuse their power.

Why choose brazilian jiu-jitsu?

  • You can practice jiu jitsu at full speed, which means you know that the moves will work against someone who doesn't want you to do them.
  • You won't get brain damage or a broken nose from jiu jitsu (probably). Martial arts like boxing and muay thai are proven effective as well, but you can never throw down in the sparring room without risking injury.
  • Jiu jitsu is mostly a merit-based martial art. If you get promoted, you earned it. If you win a tournament, you earned that.
